JVC HM100 camcorder

jvc_hm100_camcorder.jpgJVC (C4315) has introduced another professional solid-state camcorder. In addition to the GY-HM700, the company is showing its litter brother, the GY-HM100. This smaller camcorder is among the industry’s first to store files in the native QuickTime format for Apple’s Final Cut Pro onto SDHC media cards. more


Panasonic shows Grade I HD monitors

panasonic-btlh2550-200.jpgAlso new in the Panasonic booth (C3712) was a pair of new high-resolution LCD HD production monitors. Two models introduced; the 25.5-inch BT-LH2550 and the 17-inch TT-LH1710 are truly high-end.


The LH2550 provides a 1920 x 1200 pixel In-Plane Switching (IPS) panel with an expanded color gamut that exceeds the NTSC standard. It offers six color space settings, therefore supporting a wide range of high-end applications. more


Affordable P2 HD camcorder

Harris and Roundbox release EPG

harris-roundbox-esg_grid-200.jpgIn March Harris (N2502) and Roundbox signed an OEM agreement to deliver a complete mobile broadcast solution for U.S. terrestrial DTV broadcasters. Under the agreement, Roundbox will be integrated into the Harris ATSC Mobile DTV broadcast system, offering operators a full-featured broadcast mobile TV solution that can be deployed immediately. more
