TSL launches PAM1-3G8 audio monitor
Over at the TSL booth, the company has unveiled the PAM1-3G8, a compact multichannel and Dolby D&E audio monitoring product. The 1RU unit supports all standards up to and including 1080p 60Hz. It also allows comprehensive monitoring of a discrete 5.1 or Dolby encoded audio signal from either AES or HD/SD sources.
The monitor features bar graphs, Dolby metadata display, loudness indication, internal loudspeakers, stereo downmix capability, incoming video display and the ability to control a set of external surround sound. The PAM1-3G8 employs factory and user-definable presets that are recalled at the touch of a button.
