S. Merrill Weiss has been selected as the 2012 recipient of the Advanced Television Systems Committee’s highest technical honor, the Bernard J. Lechner Outstanding Contributor Award, the ATSC said May 9.
The presentation of the honor was made during the ATSC Annual Meeting at the Ronald Reagan International Trade Center.
The Lechner Award is presented annually to an individual ATSC member whose technical and leadership contributions to the group have been invaluable and exemplary. more…
