Network Electronics’ new display products

Sometimes companies cooperate to create innovative solutions. That’s the case with Network Electronics and Skyline Communications. Rather than reinvent the world, Network Electronics has integrated Skyline’s DataMiner Network Management System (NMS) with its Flashlink, VikinX and Ventura products. The resulting combination enables customers to monitor and control a variety of video transport solutions from a single consolidated user interface. Behind the scenes, DataMiner NMS is a comprehensive open platform solution that can support the integration of third-party products. Through the addition of an advance feature set, Network’s GYDA control system and AEMS (Advanced Element Monitoring System) can now be accessed from the DataMiner NMS.

Miranda partners with Pebble Beach Systems

Miranda Technologies announced a partnership with Pebble Beach Systems to offer a highly-automated, multichannel playout system incorporating rich graphics support, which can ease the transition to IT-based operations. The agreement will provide tight integration between Pebble Beach’s Neptune automation and Anchor media management and Miranda’s Xchannel playout server.

Miranda’s Xchannel reduced capital cost by combining a video server, MC switcher and branding processor into one highly integrated device. The rich integration allows the Pebble Beach automation to manage secondary branding events directly, driving the graphic engine in Miranda’s Xchannel. The result is the creation of a highly-efficient, graphic template-based production-to-air chain.
