Thomson Grass Valley announces the Triton Plus switcher

Thomson Grass Valley has expanded its line of Triton compact routing switchers with the debut of the new Thomson Grass Valley Triton Plus series. Triton Plus has a reduced frame size, but expanded scalability and support for the highest quality AES110 Ohm audio and 3 Gb/s video signals. The new small footprint router is ideal for demanding AV environments where small size, low weight and affordability are critical.


The router family expands the small router category to include 32×32 and 64×64 sizes. The routers are available in configurations from 8×8 to 64×64, can be combined with the new Trinix NXT routing switcher and updated Jupiter Control System for local routing in larger installations.


Signals supported include; analog video, SD and 3 Gb/s HD video and analog audio, AES75, and AES110 audio. It also can be fitted with optional redundant power supplies for increased reliability.
