Niagara GoStream SURF released

ViewCast Niagara Go Stream SURFThe Niagara Go Stream SURF from ViewCast provides a portable, powerful, compact and durable solution for on-location steaming. The SURF can simultaneously stream multiple full resolutions at multiple data rates in multiple streaming formats, including MPEG-4 and Adobe Flash Live. The encoder captures, encodes, streams and archives digital video and audio in full resolution. The streaming encoder supports both component and composite video, and balanced and unbalanced stereo audio inputs. Users can customize the stream with bitmap overlays with logos and branding.

For news applications, the simple interface provides an operator-friendly control panel to set up and start multiple streams. Engineers can pre-program front-panel “A-B-C” buttons so less-trained operators can easily activate pre-determined streaming profiles.
