Sundance Digital demonstrates FastBreak NXT at IBC

Sundance FastBreak NXTThe Sundance Digital FastBreak NXT automation solution manages information and controls content in the broadcast master control room. FastBreak NXT integrates comprehensive database management with frame-accurate control of video servers, tape transports, switchers, routers, and other common peripherals for complete mastery of the broadcast transmission process.

FastBreak NXT combines technology from the larger scale Titan product. Built specifically for the 1-4 channel operation, FastBreak NXT is the perfect solution for call letter broadcasters and cable networks.

The system comes standard with Sundance’s Integrated Device Operations Network, (SIDON), a powerful, expandable TCP/IP-based machine control architecture. SIDON frame-accurately controls most broadcast hardware with new drivers being continually added.

Each FastBreak NXT Automation system includes a custom-written Traffic Interface. Software resides on a 4RU enterprise-grade Pentium-based Windows workstation with dual, hot-swappable power supplies and mirrored hard drives. FastBreak NXT is expandable and upgradeable with additional playlists and functionality options, such as Intelli-Sat, News Recorder or Digital Delivery Management System.
