Network Electronics’ new display products

Sometimes companies cooperate to create innovative solutions. That’s the case with Network Electronics and Skyline Communications. Rather than reinvent the world, Network Electronics has integrated Skyline’s DataMiner Network Management System (NMS) with its Flashlink, VikinX and Ventura products. The resulting combination enables customers to monitor and control a variety of video transport solutions from a single consolidated user interface. Behind the scenes, DataMiner NMS is a comprehensive open platform solution that can support the integration of third-party products. Through the addition of an advance feature set, Network’s GYDA control system and AEMS (Advanced Element Monitoring System) can now be accessed from the DataMiner NMS.

Network Electronics’ new display productsThis allows Network’s customers to deploy an umbrella network monitoring approach and provides broadcasters, telcos and other video transporters with a simplified consolidated overview of their entire network activities through DataMiner.

DataMiner’s Visio-based drawings result in intuitive graphical interfaces that provide real-time monitoring and control, trend analysis, alarm management, notification, automation, correlation, reporting, etc. The result is that users can install and operate new, advanced router, optical transport and signal processing control and management systems developed from Network Electronics and use DataMiner to obtain an overview of the entire system.

The new solution is being demonstrated in booth 8.B70.
