Following on from last year’s hugely successful audio test and measurement training seminar at Duxford in Cambridgeshire, and due to popular demand for a re-run, Prism Sound is holding a second training event in the North of England with the aim of introducing engineers to the practical and theoretical aspects of accurately measuring audio for a wide variety of applications.

Los Angeles – January 16, 2012 — The House Research Institute (HRI) [NAMM booth 1292, Hall E] announced that as part of its Sound Partners® program it is continuing its annual tradition of providing free hearing screenings to all attendees of the 2012 NAMM Winter Show on January 19 - 22 at the Anaheim Convention Center. By visiting the HRI booth, NAMM attendees can receive valuable information on noise induced hearing loss as well as Hi-Fi earplugs, which will be distributed on a first come, first served basis.

Bournemouth University has been named as the first UK Accredited SADiE Training Establishment as part of a new scheme launched by SADiE to improve training for students using its editing equipment.
The university, which was also the first in the UK to take delivery of the new SADiE 6 software, achieved its accreditation through the quality of its teaching.
