TV Azteca Prefers Jampro UHF DTV Antenna System For Melchor Ocampo, Mexico

Sacramento, CA — Jampro Antennas has received a contract from TV Azteca, one of Latin America’s largest television networks and a long-time customer of the antenna manufacturer, to provide a UHF television antenna system for its growing Mexican network. Alex M. Perchevitch, Jampro’s president made the announcement from headquarters in Sacramento, CA.


The new system will be installed in the municipality of Melchor Ocampo in the northeastern state of Nuevo Leon. It is designed to improve TV Azteca’s coverage in one of Mexico’s most progressive farming, industrial and commercial centers.

Egyptian Broadcasting Network Orders 20 Jampro Flat Panel FM Antennas

Sacramento, CA – Egyptian Radio and TV Union (ERTU) recently placed a major order for 20 Jampro flat panel FM antennas according to an announcement made here today by Alex M. Perchevitch, president of the manufacturing company. ERTU is Egypt’s national broadcasting network as well as the largest radio and television broadcaster in the Middle East with a total audience of approximately 60 million.

Vietnam Television Selects Jampro For Massive Turnkey Antenna Project

Sacramento, CA (September 5, 2011) — Jampro Antennas of Sacramento, California has been awarded a major contract from Vietnam Television (VTV) to supply ten DTV-ready antenna systems to sites located throughout the Socialist Republic of Vietnam as well as facilitate installation and commissioning. Harris Antenna Artifact from World Trade Center Tower to be Dedicated for 9/11 Remembrance in Quincy

Tower held TV antenna designed and manufactured by Harris at local facility


Mayor John Spring of Quincy, Il, will lead a 9/11 Remembrance and Dedication Ceremony on Sunday, September 11th from 3-5pm, to be attended by first responders, community leaders, news media, the public, and executives from Harris Corporation and its Broadcast Communications Division.


The City of Quincy will dedicate a memorial to the victims of 9/11 featuring a 15-foot long, 7,000-pound steel structure that was part of the antenna tower located on World Trade Center Building #1. This structure supported a TV broadcast antenna that was designed and manufactured by Harris at its Quincy plant, still home to Harris radio and TV transmission manufacturing operations. Earlier this summer, Harris participated in the commemorative September 11 event that brought these artifacts to Quincy.
