CP Communications deploys five MRC Link High Definition Wireless Camera Systems at Super Bowl XLII.
Microwave Radio Communications (MRC) today announced that CP Communications provided five MRC Link HD wireless camera systems to Fox Sports and NFL Network for coverage of Super Bowl XLII. These state-of-the-art radios provided primary feeds for the day‘s coverage from the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona - the most-watched Super Bowl game in NFL history. In addition Fox Sports and NFL Network used two systems each for the pre-game festivities.
CP Communications partnered with Total RF Productions to deploy two hand-held units and two SteadiCam mounted units that transmitted live HD coverage from the red carpet area, the NFL Experience, the Willie Nelson concert and activity in the VIP tents before going inside the stadium for coverage of the game. more
