(CMI), is now shipping their professional high definition DVB-T/DVB-T2 frequency agile receiver and H.264 and MPEG-2 decoder. The Virenza-T+T2™ will be featured at the International Broadcasting Convention (IBC) in Amsterdam, September 9-13, at Stand 2.A48.


Suitable for both IPTV and European broadcast distribution, the Virenza-T+T2 demodulates the DVB-T and DVB-T2 formats used by broadcast professionals in Europe, Asia, and parts of Africa and South America. It decodes both H.264 and MPEG-2 video formats to SMPTE 259M (SD-SDI), SMPTE 292 (HD-SDI), or YPrPb.

Pacific Television Center to Support Global Transmission for the 10th Anniversary of World Trade Center Attacks

Programming will begin on the evening of September 8 and last through September 12.


PacTV New York will have two HD/SD standup positions with dramatic views overlooking the ceremony, scheduled to take place on September 11, and the new 9/11 Memorial located at World Trade Center Plaza in New York City. Broadcast Sports, Inc. Swings into 3D Action at the 2011 Little League World Series

logo_home8.jpgHanover, MD…Broadcast Sports, Inc. (BSI) is hitting the 65th Little League World Series this week to provide ESPN with 3D coverage of the baseball games in Williamsport, PA. This year, ESPN will produce all LLWS games from Lamade Stadium in 2D and 3D using a single truck and crew. Games in the adjacent Volunteer Stadium will receive 2D treatment only using an independent mobile unit.


BSI is providing a dual wireless miniature HD camera link for coverage inside the stadium and will add a site to extend coverage area, one dual wireless UHF camera control, one spread spectrum data link for 3D Pace CamNet Data, one UHF Camera PL, and two UHF handheld radios and accessories.
