British Broadcaster chooses Stagetec’s NEXUS to equip new MediaCityUK

Manchester, UK, September 2011: German manufacturer of professional audio equipment STAGETEC has supplied a large NEXUS audio network to British public broadcaster BBC North for its new campus MediaCityUK in Salford near Manchester. AJA FS2, Ki Pro and Mini-Converters Keep the Video Flowing for Interactive Oceans Visions’ 11 Expedition

Digital video solutions from AJA Video Systems are playing a key role in the capture, conversion, archiving and transmission of mission critical video from the Research Vessel Thomas G. Thompson, in support of the Visions’ 11 expedition currently underway 400km off the coast of Oregon.


The Expedition is part of the National Science Foundation’s Ocean Observatories Initiative, which is building a cabled infrastructure on the seafloor to enable scientists to better study the area.
