Special effects foreman Tom Kittle, who’s based in Ocala, Florida, turns to Look Solutions for his foggers of choice for motion picture and TV work.
Kittle places the compact TINY FX fogger under car hoods for car wrecks and inside stoves to simulate steam. He uses the Viper NT fogger to produce smoke wherever needed in interiors.
“I’ve been using them for years and love them,” he says. “The TINYs are great for small spots - you can stick them anywhere. The Vipers are very tough - it’s hard to kill them!”

grandMA and Clay Paky Sharpy lighting fixtures took on a Spanish accent for the 12th Annual Latin Grammy Awards telecast live on the Univision Network on Nov. 10 from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. A.C.T Lighting is the distributor of grandMA and Clay Paky products in North America.
Lititz, Pennsylvania-based Atomic Lighting provided three grandMA2 light systems with fader wings to control the show’s lighting and another two full-size grandMA2 consoles to run 16 universes of Artnet for the video content. Fifty Clay Paky Sharpys formed part of the lighting inventory.

Los Angeles, CA - Pacific Television Center (PacTV), a Los Angeles-based independent global transmission and production company, has recently completed major service upgrades for TV New Zealand (TVNZ), Special Broadcasting Service Australia (SBS) and TV Games Network (TVG) in Los Angeles. The enhanced service capabilities allow for increased international content to be delivered and disseminated through PacTV’s extensive, global fiber network.

Electrosonic has successfully upgraded some of the key audio/visual components in the Scottish Government’s Media Centre at St. Andrew’s House in Edinburgh. The Centre has the facility to run presentations, record proceedings and relay images to an adjacent room.
Electrosonic’s Edinburgh office refreshed the essential presentation equipment in “Media 1” (seating 70), “Media 2” (a small briefing/meeting or overflow room), a preparatory “Green Room” supporting Media 1 & 2, a back projection room (for main control and video routing equipment), and a control room (housing video preview and audio equipment). The original equipment was installed around 12 years ago and overdue a refresh.
