ERLANGER, KY, August 20, 2008— TVOne-task’s newest product family consists of one CAT.5/6 transmitter and two receivers. The 1T-CT-621 transmitter used in conjunction with the 1T-CT-624 receiver can achieve distances up to 150m (450 feet) while the 1T-CT-628 receiver can achieve distances up to 250m (750 feet.) The units can handle maximum resolutions up to 1920×1200 and 1080p @ 60Hz with embedded audio. They are HDCP and v1.2 HDMI compliant. For normal operation, two Cat.5/5E or 6 cables are required, one for the main signal and one for the HDCP/DDC signal. Single cable operation is possible under certain circumstances but it is recommended that the user checks with TV One Tech Support. The receivers provide Gain and Equalization adjustments. The system is fully compatible with DVI-D signals. The unique TVOne-task locking power connectors are used to enhance overall system security. All three units are available for immediate shipment. more

Wakefield, UK, August 2008: NEP Visions, one of Europe’s largest independent outside broadcast facilities companies, has been putting SoundField’s DSF-2 digital microphone through its paces over the past year and a half, using it to provide 5.1 ambience on its HD transmissions for a variety of high-profile work, including the international feed for May’s European Champions League football final in Moscow, and regular coverage of UK football Premier League and Championship matches for Sky Sports.
