ORLANDO, FL – MultiDyne Video & Fiber Optic Systems, a premier provider of fiber optic-based video and audio transport solutions for broadcast and pro A/V applications, is introducing Fiber-Comms, a four-wire optical extender designed for intercom lines at InfoComm 2009 (Booth 4629). This advanced fiber optic extender seamlessly transports from one to eight intercom or IFB channels and can also transport control and signaling data.
Addressing the three key areas sought after by professionals in the A/V and broadcast industries, Fiber-Comms allows for greater data transport, over a lighter fiber cable and for a longer distance. When used in conjunction with the MultiDyne COMMS-2000 two-wire to four-wire converter, Fiber-Comms can extend a two-wire system. It is also a cost-effective integrated component for the LiGHTBoX™ field portable fiber optic transport system. more

“We put a lot of thought into streamlining the user experience. Once you use it, you’ll be amazed at how simple it is to operate.” said Christian Latzelsberger, Senior Product Manager for RTS Intercoms Worldwide.
“The ease of use translates directly into productivity gains. That coupled with the generous expansion options and unmatched RTS backward compatibility makes the CLD series a solid investment.” more
“A desktop version was the next logical step in the CLD series.” said Christian Latzelsberger, Senior Product Manager for RTS Intercoms Worldwide.
“Like the KP 32 CLD we evaluated how intercoms are used in various settings, and what meaningful improvements could be made. With the DKP 16 CLD, nothing was overlooked. Desktop users will be very pleased with the refinements in the control surfaces, and the graphical interface on the DKP 16 CLD.”
The desktop keypanel sports innovative conveniences which are the new standard among the RTS CLD keypanel family. Two user-programmable buttons, one-touch listen volume adjustment, and a backlit keypad are just some of the common features which set this keypanel family apart. The DKP 16 CLD is designed with a curvaceous housing and compact footprint that sits attractively in desktop configurations. For future applications, the DKP 16 CLD also includes a USB port conveniently mounted in the front of the unit. more
“This really is a new way to look at using the intercom system.” explains Christian Latzelsberger, Senior Product Manager for RTS Intercoms Worldwide.
“The VKP looks and behaves just like our best-selling RTS keypanels, but it is just an application on your computer. This frees up physical real estate on your desk, and allows any PC user on the network to connect the intercom system via Ethernet.”
Orlando, FL RTS is proud to show the EKP 32 CLD, an expansion panel for the KP 32 CLD color display keypanel. The expansion panel adds 32 keys to the KP 32 CLD. The EKP 32 CLD includes the same intuitive color graphical interface as the KP 32 CLD, and also features one-touch volume adjustment and contemporary styling.
“The EKP enhances the CLD keypanel line.” explains Christian Latzelsberger, Senior Product Manager for RTS Intercoms worldwide.
The EKP 32 CLD doubles the number of easily accessible destinations and features (such as triggering relays etc), thus enabling greater user productivity.
The LCP 16 CLD Level Control Panel is the latest peripheral for the KP 32 CLD Color Display Keypanel by RTS Intercom Systems. The LCP 16 CLD provides direct “knob access” to the volume levels of AUX, sidetone, speaker, headset, and other functions of the KP 32 CLD. This adds convenience for the user by bringing one-touch volume control to functions that were otherwise embedded in software menus. The individual knobs can be custom assigned to adjust AUX, sidetone, speaker, headset, and other functions of the KP 32 CLD. The designation strip provides a clear indication of the assigned function. The LCP 16 CLD can be directly connected to KP 32 CLD Color Display Keypanels.
Similar to the PAM-32, the PAM-16 has 16 push button keys used for monitoring audio inputs. The PAM-16 features four character alphanumeric displays with adjustable brightness control, making it suitable for all types of ambient lighting: from direct sunlight to darkness.
The output of the PAM-16 can be connected to a monitor speaker or can be used to create a mix (minus audio) that can be sent back to the Matrix as input for IFBs. more
