Las Vegas, NV RTS is pleased to introduce the RVON-C Voice-Over IP Card at NAB 2006, booth #C4535. The RVON-C Voice-Over IP card introduces all the VoIP functionality of the RVON-8 for ADAM, to the Cronus intercom system. The RVON-8 converts analog audio to digital VoIP. Installed directly into Cronus, the RVON-C expands the connectivity to the Cronus intercom system by supporting eight channels in and out. Up to four RVON-C cards can be supported in Cronus at one time, totaling 32 channels of VoIP audio plus data. more
Las Vegas, NV RTS is pleased to show the TIF-4000 Telephone Interface at NAB 2006, booth #C4535. The TIF-4000 is a frame of up to 12 digital telephone interface cards (TIF-4000 front card), with a redundant power supply designed to be compatible with ADAM, ADAM-CS, and Zeus intercom systems. It provides bi-directional communication between the intercom matrix and an analog telephone line. It allows the phone to access all crosspoints of the matrix, as well as dynamic party lines, IFB circuits, and other forms of communications. The 4RU high mountable TIF-4000 provides a transparent link to the telephone system, enabling full dial-out capability from any designated keypanel with keypad. The TIF-4000 has full dial-in capability, giving the caller a keypanel in the system via commands from the DTMF pad on their telephone. more
The RTS KP-612 and KP-412 12-position keypanels are available with pushbutton or lever key. These models fit in a standard 19” rack and are one rack space high. A desktop version is also available.
In addition, there are two encoders. One encoder is used for headset, microphone, auxiliary input, and matrix in volume adjustment. The other encoder knob used for menu selection. The KP-612 and KP-412 keypanels have a standard numerical keypad with four extra keys: Mic Mute, User Assignable, Page Up, and Page Down.
The KP-612 and KP-412 keypanels are made of pressed aluminum/metal and feature state-of-the-art audio processors and drivers. The KP-612 features a six character display, and the KP-412 features a four character display.
Optional RVON Cards are available to connect to RTS Voice-Over Network. more
The RTS model PAM-16 keypanel fits in a standard 19” rack and is one rack space high. It has 16 push button keys used for monitoring audio inputs. The PAM-16 also has four character alphanumeric displays with adjustable brightness control, making it suitable for all types of ambient lighting: from direct sunlight to darkness.
The output of the PAM-16 can be connected to a monitor speaker or can be used to create a mix (minus audio) that can be sent back to the matrix as input for IFB’s. more
Germany For the World Cup in Germany, the first major sporting event in the history of television to be produced in High Definition format, over two thirds of the world’s broadcasters are relying on systems from RTS & Telex.
The whole world is watching. Dubai, United Arab Emirates No fewer than three major players in the Dubai broadcast sector – Fawasel TV, Dubai Television and the rental company AV Concepts – have just ordered intercom systems from RTS, including Zeus II matrices, RTS Two-Wire intercom systems and RTS keypanels.
Fawasel TV has been only been broadcasting from Dubai’s booming Media City since January 2006, but with a million dollar budget, it looks set already to be a major player in the industry. Proof of the company’s ambition is its recent decision to invest in a variety of state-of-the-art intercom systems from RTS & Telex including a Zeus II digital matrix, RTS keypanels, an RTS Two-Wire power supply and a number of beltpacks, receivers and IFB Talent transmitters. Thanks to full compatibility of the RTS matrices, the company’s existing Sony cameras could be easily integrated into the system. As an intercom solution, the newly purchased equipment offers efficient duplex communication between directors and cameramen. more

The French company Visual Technology has just equipped its HD1 production truck with an Advanced Digital Audio Matrix (ADAM) as part of a full switchover to RTS systems.
France The French TV production company Visual Technology has just equipped its HD1 production truck with systems from RTS. The centerpiece of the newly installed equipment is an Advanced Digital Audio Matrix (ADAM) with 80 x 80 ports and a total of 20 RTS keypanels.
(4x KP-32-GR4F, 4x KP-32-16GRC4, 2x KP-632-24GR, 6x KP-12LK W/RC, 3x MKP-4LK, 1x UIO-256). The HD1 is a simulcast-capable, mobile control room (simulcast being the simultaneous transmission of analogue and digital signals) and equipped for the use of up to 24 HD cameras. more
Bratislava, Slovakia Bratislava-based Centron Slovakia S.R.O. was created at the end of 1991.
