IRVINE, CALIF. - January 3, 2007 - Bitcentral Inc., a leading provider of news production, archiving and distribution solutions to local television stations, has fully installed and gone live with its groundbreaking Precis end-to-end digital news production solution at three television news stations in a single day. The complete personnel training, installation, logistics and conversion of the broadcast stations from tape to complete digital workflows were done in a mere three weeks according to the specific needs of the respective stations. The following stations went live with the Precis solution on Friday, December 14:
• KSEE in Fresno, CA
• KMTV in Omaha, NE
• KTVM in Bozeman, MT
The three Precis installations were scheduled for the same date in efforts to complete full conversion in the small window of opportunity between the November ratings and end of year holiday periods.
