Matrox Video Products Group today announced Windows 7 support for Matrox MXO2 LE, MXO2 and MXO2 Rack. The Matrox MXO2 family of I/O devices streamlines editing with Adobe CS4 Production Premium. These devices provide all the features of an I/O card in a sturdy breakout box with professional audio and video connectivity. The Matrox MXO2 devices are also available with Matrox MAX technology for accelerated H.264 file creation using Adobe Media Encoder.

Matrox Video Products Group today announced support for Snow Leopard across its line of Mac I/O and H.264 encoding products including Matrox MXO2, Matrox MXO2 LE, Matrox MXO2 Rack, Matrox MXO2 Mini, and Matrox CompressHD. The version 1.7 software implements 32- and 64-bit support for the new Mac OS X v10.6. It is now available as a free download from the Matrox website to all registered users.

Matrox Video Products Group today announced that Matrox MAX technology can now be used to accelerate H.264 encoding with Telestream Episode Encoder desktop applications on the Mac. Matrox Video Products Group today announced that release 1.6 for Matrox MXO2, Matrox MXO2 Rack, Matrox MXO2 Mini, and Matrox CompressHD is now available as a free download from the Matrox website to all registered users. The Matrox products will be demonstrated at IBC 2009 on stand 7.B29. This release implements support for the new Final Cut Studio including Final Cut Pro 7 with Apple’s new ProRes 422 (LT), ProRes 422 (Proxy) formats and Compressor 3.5.
