The network built for one of the leading Cable TV companies in Germany includes interconnect of the main Cable TV head-ends across the country.
The Net Insight Nimbra platform was chosen since it is a well-proven solution and thanks to excellent multicast capabilities and low operating cost. The primary sites will be equipped with Nimbra 680 including multi video access cards and optical 10G trunks.
The value of the agreement exceeds 10 MSEK and the network will be operational in the end of 2011.

The customer is one of the most successful television companies in North America. Services are offered to over 40 million subscribers in North America and to over 35 million subscribers across the world.
The Net Insight Nimbra platform will be used for media contribution to a main statellite uplink facility as well as a secondary uplink facility for distaster recovery. The network will be based on Nimbra 680 and the recently released Nimbra 380.

New Delhi based national News Broadcaster chooses Enterprise sQ for speed to air and low cost of ownership
News Express, the New Delhi, India based national broadcaster and a division of the Sai Prasad Group of companies that trades as Sai Prasad Media Pvt. Ltd., has purchased a Quantel Enterprise sQ production system to power its new all-HD national news broadcasting operation which is slated to go on air in July 2011. This will be India’s first national HD news broadcast service. The Enterprise sQ system is being supplied through Quantel’s Indian reseller, Shaf Broadcast.
