Synapse, AXON’s modular interface and signal processing equipment, is enhanced with 3D functionality. The G3D100 is a 3Gb/s, HD and SD stereoscopic production and/or transmission tool. The unit is designed for situations where stereoscopic production with flip or mirror, monitoring in anaglyph, 3D transmission of stereoscopic into side by side, or side by side to anaglyph is required. It can be fed with a stereoscopic image (and a backup source). These sources are processed internally to provide multiple outputs. more

AXON’s, Synapse card GXG160 was used by Sweetwater Digital Productions, a mobile broadcast facilities rental company, to create the 3D tribute segment of the 52nd Annual GRAMMY® Awards broadcasted live on CBS.
Sweetwater, Los Angeles-based, provides video production trucks, custom control room installations, and display technology to entertainment and corporate clients. Sweetwater rents to the producers of television shows, concerts, live special events, corporate shows, meetings, conventions and motion pictures. In order to create the broadcasted anaglyph for the 3D-portion of the event Sweetwater used the Synapse GXG160 card. Austin, TX, March 22, 2010 – Audio specialist Sennheiser provided spectacular sound for a diverse range of artists during the SXSW Music Festival as its microphones and wireless transmitters—as well as the revolutionary loudspeakers from distributed brand K-array—were put through the paces over the course of the three-day event. Sennheiser sponsored busy stages at the PureVolume House, Maggie Mae’s and Speakeasy–each located at the heart of Austin’s music scene.
The stage at PureVolume House featured a set of the K-array Redline KR200s loudspeakers, which deliver ‘no compromise sound’ within an astonishingly small footprint. Artists were also provided with a Sennheiser SKM 2000 wireless handheld transmitter with MMD 935-1 capsule and a full complement of evolution microphones for reinforcing guitars, drums and other instruments. Similar equipment was used during performances at Maggie Mae’s and Speakeasy.
