Triveni Digital GuideBuilder™ Provides PSIP Solution for ABC’s HD Network

PRINCETON, N.J. — April 28, 2008 – Triveni Digital, a subsidiary of LG Electronics (LGE), today announced that its GuideBuilder™-based network PSIP (Program and System Information Protocol) management system will be used by the ABC television network to aid distribution of its HD network programming information. The new solution from Triveni Digital leverages the company’s GuideBuilder Network VANC Receiver (NVR) module to give ABC affiliate stations a convenient means of making last-minute changes to information — including program schedules, parental guidance ratings, or emergency updates — in their HD digital television streams. more

HOLOPHONE® INTRODUCES ENHANCED H4 SUPERMINI AT NAB 2008

In response to user feedback, Holophone, the leading manufacturer of surround microphones, introduced the latest version of its popular H4 SuperMINI camera-mountable mic at NAB 2008. This upgrade adds the balanced output capability to the mic‘s encoder.


In addition to its current 3.5mm stereo outputs, the H4 SuperMINI‘s encoder will now feature one 6-pin mini XLR output which contains both LT and RT balanced information. This helps to make the mic‘s recordings more compatible with professional level AV equipment. It also allows the encoder to be connected to a camera or recording device with a longer run of cable without affecting the quality of the audio signal. more

HOLOPHONE® INTRODUCES H4 MULTI-CABLE AT NAB 2008

Users of Holophone‘s H4 SuperMINI, the world‘s first camera mountable surround microphone, will now have additional connection options with the company‘s new H4 Multi-Cable, which made its debut at NAB 2008.


The H4 Multi-Cable helps to reduce the height of the H4 SuperMINI microphone, dropping it a full 6 inches for a lower on-camera profile. It also allows the H4 SuperMINI‘s encoder, preamp and monitor module to be mounted in a variety of locations. With the H4 Multi-Cable, the H4 SuperMINI‘s microphone head connects directly to the camera through a cold shoe connector and the microphone‘s encoder is attached to the side of the camera or worn as a belt pack. The H4 Multi-Cable is available with a three-foot (90cm) or five-foot (1.5m) cable which connects the multi-channel microphone head to the encoder, maintaining the user‘s mobility. more

Bosch Communications Systems Announces New Sales Manager, Mexico

Bosch Communications Systems, one of the world’s leading manufacturers and suppliers of professional audio, wireless, life safety, and communications equipment (Bosch®, Dynacord®, Electro-Voice®, Klark Teknik®, Midas®, RTS®, Telex®), is pleased to announce the appointment of Ernesto Montañez as their new Sales Manager for Mexico. Based at the Robert Bosch office in Mexico City, Montañez will oversee all Bosch Communications Systems‘ current sales channel partners in Mexico, effective April 28th, 2008.

Montañez brings over 10 years of professional audio experience to this position. A native of Mexico City, Montañez joins Bosch Communications Systems after working for the past two years as the Sales Manager Pro Audio for Sennheiser Mexico. Prior to that, Montañez worked for eight years for Multimedia, an AV integrator operating in Mexico City and Monterrey. Ernesto has an Audio Engineering Degree from the Universidad Tecnologia Vicente Perez Rosales in Santiago de Chile, Chile, and obtained various certification requirements from renowned audio manufacturers (Crestron, Bose, Biamp Systems, etc.).

The appointment of Montañez comes on the heels of excellent 2006 and 2007 sales results reported by the company in Mexico.
