WBRZ-TV Invests in Ross with the Purchase of Vision Quattro and openGear

Iroquois, ON Canada - April 17, 2008 - WBRZ-TV invests in Ross‘ newest switcher platform with the purchase of a Vision Quattro 3.5 Multi-Definition Video Production Switcher, along with Ross openGear terminal equipment, to equip their HD build out.

“The Vision Quattro Multi-Def Switcher offered us a tremendous amount of capability for a good price,” said Clyde Pierce, Chief Engineer, WBRZ-TV. “We also selected Ross for our infrastructure gear because they are part of the openGear frame standard. This definitely puts us in a great position when looking towards the future, as there are a wide range of manufacturers supporting the openGear platform.”

“We are very excited that WBRZ-TV chose Ross to assist in their HD broadcast needs,” said Jared Schatz, Regional Sales Manager, Southeast Region. “Vision Quattro and openGear are industry leading products that will anchor WBRZ‘s state-of-the-art facility.”
