Nashville‘s Starstruck Studios Records the Hits on Avastor Drives

Peachtree City, GA, March 24, 2008 - Starstruck Studios in Nashville has been the recording facility of choice for some of country and pop‘s biggest names, and with the need for failsafe and robust storage solutions, the studio has made Avastor the hard drive of choice for its most commercially successful clients.

The studio, whose recent high-profile projects have included Reba McEntire‘s Duets, as well as albums by Carrie Underwood, Michelle Branch and Kelly Clarkson, uses a variety of recording mediums from analog tape to Pro Tools HD that work in tandem with the Avastor HDX-800 Triple Interface FireWire drives. With a high level of confidence in the reliability of the product, Starstruck uses the Avastors for primary tracking.

“We like the professional build quality of the Avastor drives,” said Studio Manager Janet Leese. “We find the drives perform well for recording and playing back large track counts of high-resolution audio on our MAC-based Pro Tools HD systems.”

Starstruck Studios‘ state-of-the-art recording and broadcast facilities offer multiple, sonically diverse rooms providing a variety of acoustic options for recording including slate, glass or wood. There is also a broadcast studio for live television guest shots, radio specials, and Webcasts.

Avastor hard drives are distributed in Nashville by NTS Pro Media.
