TVOne-task‘s 1T-DA-462 is a professional Distribution Amplifier that provides distribution of both the audio and VGA video signal from a PC or RGB source.


ERLANGER, KY, January 9, 2008– The TVOne-task 1T-DA-462 RGBHV Distribution Amplifier provides two VGA type outputs plus Stereo Audio for use in any situation requiring multiple outputs from a single PC or other RGB video source. The video bandwidth, in excess of 450MHz, handles computer resolutions up to 2560×1600 at distances up to 300 feet from the source without signal deterioration. The1T-DA-462 has a MSRP of $110 and is currently shipping. more

Alpha Video‘s Sports & Entertainment Group Completes University of Central Florida Install

Minneapolis, MN, January 8, 2007 - Alpha Video‘s Sports & Entertainment Group, the leading national integrator and specialist for the sports and entertainment industry, announced that it has finished installing a state-of-the-art digital replay control room for the newly built Bright House Networks Stadium at the University of Central Florida (UCF).


Alpha‘s Sports & Entertainment Group worked with UCF on planning for the project for over two years before construction of the stadium began, and designed and integrated the digital replay control room, valued at $700,000. The multi-definition control room includes equipment manufactured by Ross Video, Panasonic, Pro-Bel, Avid and others. It is currently used in standard-definition, but can easily be updated to high-definition as the Knights‘ needs change.

Kansas City Broadcaster Deploys UTAH-400 Routing Switcher in New HD Facility

SALT LAKE CITY — Jan. 9, 2008 – KMBC/KCWE, a Hearst-Argyle broadcaster in Kansas City, Mo., has deployed a UTAH-400 routing switcher from Utah Scientific at the core of a new 51,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility located southeast of the city proper. With the new facility, KMBC/KCWE becomes the first HD news station in the No. 31 media market in the United States. more
