NUCOMM IS HD READY WITH NEWLY DEVELOPED 7 SERIES ENG PRODUCTS

Nucomm‘s entire ENG/OB product line is now capable of HD operation using built in encoding/decoding technology. Presenting today‘s broadcast arena with the convenience of field upgradeability, all 7 Series products can be delivered with HD capability or delivered as SD and can be easily field upgraded to HD via a software key. Prior to this announcement Nucomm‘s HD product line consisted of the CamPac 2 HD/SD wireless camera transmitter and Newscaster DR HD/SD diversity receiver that have been well received as the premier wireless camera system in the industry. Popular Series Uses POV Camera To Capture High Definition Cave Exploration Footage


Santa Barbara, CA: January 22, 2008–Iconix Video, manufacturer of the world‘s smallest professional quality HD video camera, today announced the use of the HD-RH1 camera system to capture high definition caving footage for Discovery Channel‘s popular series, “Dirty Jobs.” “Dirty Jobs” airs Tuesdays at 9PM ET/PT on the Discovery Channel.


For the upcoming “Cave Biologist” episode (airing January 22), “Dirty Jobs” host Mike Rowe took an exploratory trip with members of the American Cave Conservation Association deep inside Kentucky‘s Hidden River Cave. CRYSTAL VISION AT BROADCAST LIVE AND VIDEOFORUM 2008 (STAND B47)

Audemat expands sales presence in China


Bordeaux-Mérignac France - Monday, January 14, 2008, the AUDEMAT group (www.audemat.com) announced today that they are opening an office in Beijing, China to coordinate sales actions for the Chinese market. This office will be operated by Mrs Xuan LUO who will offer local sales assistance to existing clients, distributors and integrators of Audemat products. The local dealer network will remain identical; it will be managed, motivated and assisted by this local presence. Mrs Xuan LUO will help coordinate with the home office for local trade shows; road shows with products, loans, and delivery time etc…Soon Audemat brochures, web site, software will be available in Chinese. Technical support and sales logistics will continue from France with the language assistance of Mrs Xuan LUO. But in a few months the AUDEMAT group plans to hire a technician to provide local technical support and assistance. “This local presence will allow the AUDEMAT group to be more responsive to the existing Chinese demand” States Jean-Baptiste Roux VP of Sales for the Audemat Group. “We‘ll also get a better understanding of specific Chinese technical requirements for new technologies for digital TV such as DMB-TH, CMMB ….etc…).” adds Roux. more
