Volicon Observer Provides LAN-Based Video Logging & Monitoring for American Forces Network

DK-Technologies Solves The Loudness Issue For Broadcasters And Post Production Facilities

There is no doubt that loudness is a hot topic for the broadcast and post production industries. DK-Technologies‘ new MSD100C Loudness is a stand-alone unit that incorporates ITU Recommendations BS.1770 and BS.1771, which specify the algorithms that should be used to measure audio programme loudness. It is able to display the loudness of the individual audio channels, as well as the sum of the left and right signals, and can be used in any broadcast or post production facility as a health check during production or prior to transmission. more

Sinclair Deploys Triveni Digital GuideBuilder™ Across Station Group to Ensure Quality

PRINCETON, N.J. — Dec. 3, 2007 — Triveni Digital, a subsidiary of LG Electronics (LGE), today announced that Sinclair Broadcast Group, one of the United States‘ largest television broadcasting companies, is using the GuideBuilder™ PSIP (Program and System Information Protocol) generator in a redundant configuration across its station group.
