ianiro UK Moves To Larger Premises

Ianiro UK Ltd has marked a tremendous first four years of trading by moving to much larger premises with plenty of space for additional stock and a permanent, fully equipped showroom.


The Redditch-based company, which specialises in camera and lighting support systems, is the UK distributor for all Ianiro products and the European distributor for Libec. Its range also includes ABC Cranes and Dollies, Luggy bags and cases, Kupo grip equipment and California Sunbounce light reflection systems.


Ianiro UK‘s managing director, Nick Allen-Miles, says: “Since starting the company four years ago, we have significantly expanded our product range and the amount of stock we now carry made a move to larger premises imperative. We simply outgrew our old building. more

DK-Technologies Appoints New French Distributor

As part of a major restructuring of its international distributor and dealer network, DK-Technologies has announced the appointment of Monitoring Company to distribute is entire range of audio and video metering products in France.

Videosonics Buys DK-Technologies Audio Meters

As part of the re-equipping its main 5.1 television mix room, audio post production facility Videosonics has installed a DK-Technologies MSD600M++ audio meter, which is specifically designed for monitoring stereo and surround sound audio.


The latest purchase means that Videosonics is now 100% equipped with DK-Technologies audio meters, with a Master Stereo Display (MSD) unit in every one of its studios.


Opened in December 1984 in Camden Town, London, Videosonics is one of the most advanced audio post companies in the UK. During the past 20 years, the facility has grown from an original three rooms to a total of six mixing studios (including three THX film dubbing theatres), nine all-digital prep rooms (all with AMS AudioFile), a dedicated foley studio and nine editorial/production rooms. more

Broadcast Networks Appoints Chris King

After successfully completing a two-year Broadcast Engineering course at Ravensbourne College, Chris King was given the chance to put theory into practice when UK Systems Integration specialist Broadcast Networks employed him as a Systems Engineer.


Over the summer, King has worked on a number of projects for Broadcast Networks, including the installation of a new Network Operations Centre at Chellomedia in Amsterdam and a new television studio in Berlin for Bloomberg TV.


His maturity and level of ability so impressed Broadcast Networks‘ managing director Tom Haye that he offered him a permanent position on the company‘s engineering team. This came into effect from October 1st. more
