The Sommet Center serves as home base for the National Hockey League‘s Nashville Predators and was built in 1996 with control room facilities designed for analog broadcast requirements. Company Achieves 48 Percent Overall Growth and 100 Percent Growth in International Sales over Past Year

Prism Sound has supplied a dScope Series III audio analyzer to GEM UK Ltd, a Gloucestershire-based company that specialises in the offshore manufacture and assembly of Printed Circuit Boards.
The unit was ordered at the behest of one of GEM UK‘s clients and is now in China where it is being used for production testing.
Clive Meadows, sales manager for GEM UK, says: “Our client specified two audio test products that would be suitable for this project and we chose the Prism Sound unit on the basis of cost and the breadth of features offered. It is being used in testing and calibration of top end audio equipment and is performing very well.” more

ALAMEDA, CA and CAMBRIDGE, UK –Clear-Com® a Vitec Group brand, announces the release of two new AES-6 interface cards to its Eclipse Digital Matrix intercom system. The two interface cards are designed to provide connection to either the AES-3 digital audio, or to coax video cable from digital intercom panels. The AES-6 cards complement Clear-Com‘s existing range of IMF interfaces for Eclipse intercom matrices, including the 1RU Eclipse-PiCo system, and supporting the company‘s existing 4000 system panels.
The 6-channel AES-6-CX module connects digital panels to Eclipse matrices. Use of these more robust coax cables is favored for outside mobile broadcast (OB) or live events, while CAT-5 cabling is preferred for indoor connection of other panels offering either mono or stereo modes. The digital audio coax connection also provides two audio paths to the intercom panel, allowing users to have a permanent program audio or production conference feed as well as switched intercom.
