Murray Community and Senior Center in Mission Viejo, Calif. The purpose of the facility expansion is to accommodate the community‘s needs for meeting and event space. Look carefully. The picture that appears on the front page of tomorrow‘s Chicago Tribune may not be a “photograph” at all. It might be a frame-grab from a high-definition digital video camcorder. Either way, readers will not be able to tell the difference, and there is no reason they should need to. A great, high-quality picture has value because of its content, not because of the camera that captured it. As valuable as that image may be, however, imagine how much more impact it can have when it is not only seen in print but also displayed as part of a motion-video sequence on that newspaper‘s Web site.
NEW YORK — Oct. 30, 2007 — Genesis Networks, a provider of next-generation global video transmission services, today announced that popular Mexican television channel SUR Mexico has begun broadcasting to U.S. cable audiences over the Genesis fiber network. On his most recent project for the upcoming Bollywood action feature film “Ghajni,” a Hindi remake of the classic Tamil film, Sound Designer Resul Pookutty was posed with the challenge of capturing the ambient sounds of the busy streets of Bombay. “Ghajni” is a revenge film where the main protagonist searches the streets of the city to seek revenge on the man who has murdered his girlfriend.
