NEUTRIK® INTRODUCES XX-HE SERIES

~ Standard XX Series with Valuable Velour Chromium Plating ~

LAKEWOOD, NJ, August 29, 2007 - Neutrik, designer and manufacturer of the XX series XLR cable connector, introduces its XX-HE Series, an exclusive version of its standard XX Series featuring valuable velour chromium plating and extra high temperature resistant insulator material.

Available in male (NC3MXX-HE) and female (NC3FXX-HE) configurations, the 3-pole connectors include velour chromium housing and machined (not stamped or rolled) gold contacts. Improved chuck type strain relief provides higher pull-out force and makes assembly easier and faster. Offering a sleek and ergonomic design, the boot features a polyurethane gland, which gives high protection to cable bending stresses. Colored rings and boots are also available for easy coding and identification.

As with the standard XX Series connectors, the male connector is designed with improved locking recess without “window” for more stringent housing for increased durability. The female connector has an improved solid metal latch, which is larger and easier to handle. The female connector also features additional ground spring contacts for better shell ground continuity.

“At Neutrik we continually look at ways to improve on our existing product line,” said Jim Cowan, president of Neutrik USA. “With the introduction of the XX-HE Series, we have taken our popular XX series and created a truly high end professional audiophile grade connector. All the stops were pulled to make this premium quality product.”

Neutrik manufactures a wide array of XLR connectors and receptacles, jacks and plugs, speaker connectors and accessories for the professional audio industry. Neutrik USA is located at 195 Lehigh Avenue, Lakewood, NJ 08701.
