Utilizing DTA, Crispin provides a seamless solution to automatically move commercials from a DG FastChannel Spot Box or Vyvx Catch Server to a video server and prepare them for air. DTA periodically reviews edge server content for new material and populates the DTA view with low-resolution clips that operators can view to verify the correct commercial material. Metadata is simultaneously retrieved and stored. DTA either automatically issues (or the operator manually selects) commercials to be transcoded and transferred to the play-to-air video server. Personnel may generate media status reports to compare record orders with the commercials that have been imported.
