ERLANGER, KY, July 2, 2008— TVOne-task’s newest pair of professional format converters, the 1T-FC-524 and 1T-FC-425, tackles format conversion when dealing with analog to digital and digital to analog conversion. The 1T-FC-524 converts analog RGBHV or Component YPbPr inputs to DVI signals, enabling their display on DVI or HDTV monitors or other devices. The 1T-FC-425 converts DVI to RGBHV or Component YPbPr, enabling viewing on analog displays or other devices. Both units are now shipping.
These units are Format Converters only and no video scaling takes place. The 1T-FC-524 will convert to several other formats if DVI is not available. An analog YPbPr input can be converted to either digital YPbPr or RGBHV. An analog RGBHV input can be converted to digital RGBHV. more…
