Vitec Group announces new business unit
The Vitec Group (exhibiting at NAB booths C6519, C6517 and C6518) announced today the establishment of RF Extreme, a new business unit within the company that comprises the digital and analog video microwave brands of Nucomm (booth C3707) RF Central and Microwave Service Company (MSC).
By dealing with one unit, RF Extreme broadcasters will have access to Nucomm and RF Central brand products as well as MSC services. The new unit will save broadcasters time and eliminate the need to work with multiple vendors.
Future RF Extreme products will be branded according to the division’s name, said Don Hoeler, VP sales and marketing.
RF Extreme is backed by in-depth integrated engineering, technical and customer support services. The new division will provide high-quality solutions to professional users and distinctive global markets, including broadcast and sports/entertainment.
